I am DAVID LARSEN and I’m running for State Representative, District 5, Seat A. My opponent is Bob Nonini.
To wage a competitive campaign, I must raise enough money to do 3-6 mailings and/or lit drops to District 5 voters.
I am a moderate Democrat and I‘m seeking the support of Independent voters and disenfranchised Republicans as well as the Democrat base.
I truly believe the majority of citizens are tired of the state of affairs in our legislature. The extremes of the parties have gotten themselves to a point where they simply can’t agree on what should be common sense solutions.
Good ideas can come from either side of the aisle but there seems to be little interest in reaching compromise solutions to our State’s problems. This does not make for good governance.
As a Moderate, I think I can represent the vast majority of our citizens. I am asking for the votes of those citizens who are tired of the extremists. Most of us are actually members of what I will choose to call the RADICAL MIDDLE!! While good ideas come from both sides of the aisle, we need to recognize that the MIDDLE connects the two sides. In fact, while I am a Democrat, I will often be referring to myself as a “RADICAL MODERATE!”
